The Main Stages of Installation
The crew reviews access, the openings being replaced and the day’s sequence. Confirm where materials and old windows will be staged and how surrounding surfaces will be protected. Your actual arrival and delivery arrangements should be confirmed during scheduling.

Follow the instructions for the products and sealants actually used. Ask when cleaning, painting or other activity around the new installation is appropriate. Curing times vary by material and conditions.
Product and warranty documents
Keep the window manufacturer, model, glass specifications, invoice and warranty documents together. Make sure you understand the manufacturer’s coverage, any installation coverage and who to contact for assistance.
Permits and inspections
Confirm the requirements for your address with Tom and your local building department. Ask who obtains the permit, schedules any inspection and provides the final completion information.
